While they where doing that they found new land.  People went exploring not only to find spices but to find other things like passages and to prove things. Some explorers were, Henry Hudson, Christopher Columbus, and many more.

I learned that lots of Americans came together to fight the terrorists. The firefighters were HUGE heros on that day. They were going up when everyone else was coming down. I also learned that on the fourth plane the people saved hundreds of people when they tried to fight the hijacker.
